実際は皇族であることを隠して生きているにもかかわらず、名前を変更しなかったルルーシュの甘さを指摘するセリフに繋がる。
「ああロミオ、あなたはなぜロミオなの？」という、シェークスピアの悲恋劇『ロミオとジュリエット』を思い切り意識したセリフと言えよう。BGMもあいまって、非常に人を食った雰囲気だった。
